When the ratio of thin plates to total plate thickness is high, the difficulty of welding increases. We will introduce a method that allows for easy fastening even under such conditions. 1. "RIVSET" is a high-strength, highly reliable self-piercing rivet. It mechanically joins different types of materials easily without the need for a pilot hole. It is also possible to fasten three or more materials. This product penetrates the upper base material and expands at the tip due to the shape of the die within the lower base material. 2. In response to the demand for CO2 reduction, the RIVCLINCH fastening method uses only air as a power source, generates no heat, and does not use auxiliary materials such as rivets, relying instead on plastic deformation. By striking multiple points, it can achieve equivalent strength compared to spot welding and SPR in shear strength comparisons. 3. "RIVTAC" allows for high-speed fastening of high-strength materials without the need for a pilot hole. It can be used for profile structures with access from one side, and it is also possible to fasten dissimilar materials or use adhesives in conjunction.
